How to look after your flowers after they arrive..

Flowers can add beauty to any home, but they don't last forever. By following these tips you can enjoy the blooms of your flowers for much longer than you currently do.

1. Do not leave your flowers in the aqua box (This is for transportation only).

2. Certain flowers including Lillies, Freesia and Tulips will be delivered "In Bud" or closed to ensure a longer life.

3. Clean water mixed with the right dose of flower food  (supplied with every bouquet) .. one sachet per half litre.

4. Always use a clean vase to avoid the risk of cross contamination.

5. Cut about 3cm off the bottom of the flowers at an angle using a sharp knife or scissors before you put them in the vase - dont use blunt tools as that will damage the cell structure and reduce the water intake.

6. Top them up with flower food treated water after a few days.
